Cash Clams by Microgaming is a classic slot machine, a so-called one-armed bandit, developed by Microgaming and available for real play and in a free practice mode. The lighthearted theme of the game is clams that yield gold coins rather than pearls. The game supports coin sizes ranging from 0.25 to 5.00. The player can opt to play one or two coins per spin, which means that the minimum stake is 0.25 and the maximum is 10.
Gameplay
The default is a 0.50 stake: two 0.25 coins. To adjust the coin size, the player uses the plus and minus buttons. To adjust the coin count, the player uses the Bet One button or simply clicks on the appropriate paytable column. Once the stake is set, the Spin button starts the game. To play the max, simply clicking the Bet Max button will set the stake and then spin.
Special Features
From lowest value to highest, Clash Clams has six symbols: lobster, bar, double bar, triple bar, gold seven and clam. All symbols pay out on three across. The lobster also pays out with just one or two symbols. The “any bar” feature awards a payout with any combination of three bar symbols. The clam is both a jackpot symbol and a wild symbol. As a wild, it can substitute for any other symbol and has a built-in win multiplier of x2 or x4 depending on how many wilds the winning combo uses.
Graphics and Audio
The graphics and animations are simple but very high quality and do a superb job of emulating an actual one-armed bandit. The music and sound effects during spins are equally good, but there is a mute button present for those who prefer to play without.
Jackpot
Since the jackpot symbol is the wild, multipliers aren’t in play for the jackpot. If the player has opted for a one-coin bet, then the jackpot is 2,000 coins. At a two-coin bet, the jackpot is 5,000 coins, which is quite high for a machine like this. At the highest stake, the max jackpot is worth $25,000.

Cash Clams is a very fast and fun slot machine that serves up classic slots play in the grand casino tradition.
