Cashville Review

Players should not be surprised to learn that Microgaming's video slot titled Cashville is all about money, money, and more money. There's nothing wrong with a slot game built around cold, hard cash. With a maximum possible jackpot of 500,000 coins, it's clear Microgaming wants to share some of this cash with its customers.

The Cashville video slot game is played with 5-reels and 20 pay lines. Considering the huge possible payouts, it's surprising to find out the total betting range is only $.01 to $40.00 based on 1 to 10 coins with a value ranging from $.01 up to the maximum of $.20.

The game's standard low-paying icons are represented by money wrapped by an expensive cigar, bills and coins stacked together, purple cash wrapped by jewelry and bills wrapped with an expensive broach, plus a cast of billionaires like Sir Stirling, Bill Bullion, Bettie Boodle and Dame Von Deeds. It's noteworthy that each of these characters come with their own unique voice-overs and video features.

The golden W with a ruby and diamond serve as the game's wild symbol. It subs for all other symbols with the exception of the scatter symbol, which is represented by the golden S, and the "bonus" game chip. If the player lands 5 wild symbols at the same time, they can win a 50,000X multiplier, which would result in the game's largest jackpot of 500,000 coins if a max bet was made.

If the player lands 3, 4 or 5 scatters, they earn a multiplier of 8X, 30X or 300X, respectively. If the player land 3 or more bonus symbols, they earn a chance to play the bonus game. The object of this game is to choose one of the four billionaires and their respective game matrix. From the matrix, the player chooses a prescribed number of spots to accumulate prizes. Finally, the base game comes with a 50/50 gamble option after every winning spin.

Verdict: Cashville has a lot going on and most of it is fun and exciting. It's worth noting the game does not offer free spins, which is kind of unusual for a Microgaming video slot. With that said, there are enough interesting bonus features to keep players occupied to the point they don't even realize they never got a chance for free spins.
